Football (Soccer) Coaches - What do you look for in a player during trials?

Hi Im doing an assignment on football trials. I was wondering what particular things you coaches out there look for during trials. I heard a player that communicates well is an important component? fitness? This is a general question for any position. But I am very interested in wingers!

Well you know the basics: fitness level, ball control, communication with other players, passing the ball at the correct moment, keeping the ball instead of passing it at the correct moment, capable of serving crosses, heading the ball, shot accuracy, strength of shot. All you need to do is elaborate why each of these things are important.

  3. THE ABSOLUTE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS A TEAM PLAYER!

    and communication. football is a mind game more than anything.

    The second most important thing is dedication. Don't choose a player isnt going to be loyal to the team. then judge each person on phisical skill.
