The Lily Whites had a disappointing defeat against the Young Boys and this made the football pundits respond with justified snide remarks of saying “I told you so.”
Still in spite of that loss that brought coldness among the White Hart Lane Supporters that was full of dread. The Club made their fans proud when they came back in the second leg and gave their opposing team a good old thrashing, as they had a very perfect
and comfortable victory in the match.
This was also the win that gave the Club their entry into the group stages of the tournament. Still once again after that Harry Redknapp’s team found themselves in a sticky situation when they went down with a score of four to nil in the first half and already
had a man short because of a red card foul.
Still they came out glaring in the second half and brought back the score from nothing to four to three in favour of the visiting team when Gareth bale scored an epic hat-trick.
The Spurs did lose that match but it showcased just what the team was capable of when motivated properly. Still this was not a debacle that was completely a lost cause as the goal difference at the end of the match makes an important difference in the standings
of the club.
This was exactly the tendency shown in players that are the real champions from heart and are definitely capable of it. This is also something that can never be taught or coached but it is a passion that either the player posses or lacks.
 
Harry 'Houdini' Redknapp

Harry Redknapp is the sixty three year old former English footballer who is currently the Tottenham Hotspurs manager.
He started his professional football career in 1965 with West Ham United and played till 1982 and had a total of two hundred and seventy six appearances made with only twelve goals scored as he used to play as a midfielder.
Then the English man started his managing career in 1983 with Bournemouth and after another two years, he moved to his first football club, West Ham United. Then after moving through several clubs, he finally made it to Tottenham Hotspurs in 2008.
The fact of the matter is that when Harry Redknapp came on to White Hart Lane, the Lily Whites were in a terrible state. They were at the bottom of the table with chances of relegation from the English Premier League.
