The newly signed Barcelona star Ibrahim Afellay finally found time after settling in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/PSV-c40281 star talked about his previous experiences and also showed how excited he was to be a part
of one of the best teams in the world.
The interview was taken by Barcelona’s official media known to be “Barca tv.” While talking to the press, Afellay stressed upon the “good feeling” that he had after joining the La Blaugrana and talking to their coach Josep Guardiola. Moreover, he also told
them how much he loved the stadium that he is going to be representing from now on, the Nou Camp.
The first question that he was asked was about the way he felt on his first day. He replied that it was a great day for him. The Dutch youngster said that even though it was tiring how he travelled to Spain and gave all the medical tests, he liked the fact
that he was now going to be a part of a great club. He stated that the first time he saw the stadium, he felt fabulous because it looked “big and beautiful.”
He was then asked what it meant for him to be a Barcelona player. The 24 year old replied that it is like a dream come true for him. He said that he loved the fact that he was a part of a team that almost every player in the world wants to be a part of.
The next question that he was asked was about his first memory of Barcelona. He said that he was very young when he used to watch players like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Romario-c31667, Ronaldo, Cocu and Kluivert. He further added on to his conversation by saying that he loved the Dutch
legend Joan Cryuff and wants to be like him. He also mentioned Koeman’s goal at Wembley that helped the team win the UEFA Champions League.
He was asked about his first reaction after he found out that the Spanish Champions were interested in him. He said that he was really happy and called up his manager and simply told him that the La Blaugrana were his first and final option to join later
on. His manager cooperated and agreed with him and helped him out with each and every transfer process that went down smoothly.
