Football Special Report: Arsene Wenger looking to raid Ajax
Arsene Wenger has been reported to be contemplating a move to try and land players for the future, as he is going to go ahead and try and sign Luis Suarez and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nicklas-Bendtner-c27726
and Denilson as part of the deal to try and land the highly talented duo.
Ajax’s manager Martin Jol, parted ways with Ajax last month and as a result, there is now giant shadows of doubts currently floating over the clubs future. As a result of this, several of the team’s key players, including the likes of Luis Suarez and Vertonghen
have been forced to re think their future. Arsenal are looking to capitalize on this shadow of a doubt that has taken over the players’ minds, as they will be looking to land the highly talented duo.
Suarez has proven his worth over the course of last year. He went on to have a tremendous World cup and has been a highly consistent performer for Ajax. The player has gone on to score a hundred and ten goals in a hundred and four games for the team, but
is still reported to be more than ready to make the jump from the Dutch outfit, if the opportunity was to present itself.
With Suarez already looking to be an easy target, Wenger is looking to also move in for Jan Vertonghen who has proven his worth in the centre of the pitch for Ajax. The player is a highly talented holding midfielder and is he to come to Arsenal, then it
is safe to say that he will form a highly commendable partnership with his Belgian international team mate, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thomas-Vermaelen-c35002.
Wenger is looking to include Bendtner in the deal, as the player has lately been complaining about the lack of first team action he is seeing at the team. Wenger has reported that he is giving him as much field time as he can. However with Bendtner still
not content with the time that he is seeing on the pitch, it seems the best possible option for the young striker is to move away from the club altogether.
Just like Bendtner, Denilson is another player who has been forced down the pecking order over the last couple of seasons. The player despite being rather good for a twenty two year old just doesn’t have the cutting edge that is required to be a part of
the Arsenal first team.
As a result, Wenger is looking to place both teams and all clubs in a win-win situation as he is willing to make a player swap, which he hopes will provide all the players with the opportunities that they require.
According to most experts, the moves that Wenger is contemplating are rather impressive. This is because he will be getting rid of two players who despite being more than just good, are rather decent. On the other hand, the players that he is looking to
land are both amongst the best at what they do.
However, it would be interesting to see if the manager decides to make the move in the winter break, or risk it all and wait till the summers. If Wenger does decide to wait till the summers then he will be risking the chance of another club swooping in for
the duo. However, with Wenger having proven in the past that he is a risk taker of the boldest kind, it is still uncertain as to what the player’s next move will be.
