Football Special Report: Constancy is the key- Arsene Wenger
Arsenal manager has set a task to his young side, urging them to keep the constancy going by wining against Wigan Athletic tonight.
Arsene Wenger and his men thrashed Chelsea on 27th December and ended their hoodoo against Barclays Premier League Champions. Moreover, the win over the Blues also boosted their chances of winning the Barclays Premier League in six years.
However, with the busy Christmas period now in full swing, Arsenal manager recognises there will be no margin for mistakes as the Gunners get ready to face Wigan Athletic for their 19th Premier League fixture.

Arsene Wenger stated: “The win over Chelsea keeps us in touch with the top teams, and also what is very important as well is that it can strengthen the belief we will have our say in this championship.”

The longest-serving manager of Arsenal added that the most consistent team will make it in the end, and that is what is at stake. He is quite positive about turning up with a fantastic performance on Wednesday night.

Arsene Wenger also claimed that he would also make changes to his starting eleven ahead of the match at DW Stadium. Arsenal skipper, Cesc Fabregas, is suspended and will not take part in this match as he was shown fifth yellow card of the season in the last
match against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786.
This could mean a start for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marouane-Chamakh-c24294, who were on bench against Chelsea, could start
against Wigan Athletic.

Meanwhile, Arsenal’s speedy winger and number-14-shirt holder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Walcott-c34873, has indicated he is fully fit and ready to go in spite of the frantic timetable.

Walcott said that he was happy to start against Chelsea and proved his worth to his manager by scoring a goal.
Theo Walcott added: "I know it's going to be a tough period, there's going to be chops and changes, I know that because it's very busy. There are a lot of games; you don't want to put too much work on yourself. So I'm sure there will be a lot of changes
on Wednesday but I feel fit, I'm ready to go."
Arsenal are currently placed third in Barclays Premier League table with 35 points under their belt out of 18 league games.
