Football Special Report: English Premier League- Looking Back On the Summer Transfers (Part 3)
Article Continued from Part 2.
After making a series of moves, he joined Barcelona in 2007 and then stayed there for three years. Subsequent to making seventy four appearances with the club and scoring four goals, he moved for a fee transfer of around twenty four million Pounds and is
earning two hundred thousand pounds a week, which makes him one of the highest paid footballers in the English Premier League.
This player is six feet three inches tall and has now joined his brother in Manchester City. This younger Toure has made eight appearances for the Citizens and gives intimidating performances for his opponents.
He is still getting to know the players around him, but there are players that are constantly being changed in the first team squad so this is a hassle.
Still he has shown that he can perform very well on his best form, and he has scored a goal, given an assist but recently is not giving his best performances but still this Toure seems like a permanent member of the first team squad.

Martin Petrov, Bolton
This is the thirty one year old Bulgarian winger who is a new signing with the Bolton wanderers. He moved from Manchester City as with all of the new signings in the club Martin Petrov felt that he would not see enough first team time so he moved out of
the Eastland’s.
On the twenty second of June 2010, it was announced in a press conference that Petrov was leaving Manchester City and was moving on a free transfer to the Bolton Wanderers and as soon as the summer transfer windows opened on the first of July, he made the
move.
He also scored his first goal with the new club against the Might Red Devils on the twenty sixth of September 2010.
This is a player that like numerous others from the Citizens were forced out as with the sudden influx of so much money the manager brought in numerous high level recruits and this ultimately meant that the old players that were mediocre or just short of
spectacular would barely be able to see any first team time.
He has settled well in his new club and even at the age of thirty one, he is performing well, and it is believed that this Bulgarian still has a few years left in him. Bolton is in the middle of the English Premier League table and a major cause seems to
be this new player.

James Milner, Manchester City
James Milner started his youth career in 1996 with the Leeds United youth academy and after six years he made it to their first team squad in 2002. Then after playing two years with them, he made a move to Newcastle United and then after being sent on loan
to Aston Villa, he made an official move to Aston villa in the next transfer window.
Then after another two years, he made the move to the Citizens. He is twenty four years old and plays as a midfielder.  Manchester City made this deal on the seventeenth of August 2010, and came as a swap deal with Stephen Ireland who is currently worth
around eight million pounds and the Citizens paid another twenty six million pounds.
James Milner has scored only once this year and it only came when he was playing with Aston Villa before the summer. He has yet to find the net while playing for the Citizens but he has succeeded in giving three assists.
