Football Special Report: Nani Declares Paul Scholes as the Best Midfielder Ever
Nani, the current Manchester United winger has heaped approbation on his colleague http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paul-Scholes-c29394, claiming him to be the best midfielder he has ever witnessed.
Luís Carlos Almeida da Cunha, commonly known as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984 national team. Having made 41 appearances and scoring in 9 goals for Portugal makes Nani quite a well reputed
personage. Making such an admiring compliment about Paul Scholes surely elevates Scholes’ status in the football arena.
Paul Scholes is an English football official who currently plays for Manchester United as a midfielder. Having spent his entire professional career with the Red Devils makes him a one-club man.
Albeit he has featured hardly in the Senior Team recently due to a worrisome groin strain, Scholes did feature in the United’s crew against Tottenham last Sunday. He also played a cameo role in his appearance on Monday night, in the reserves’ 8-0 victory
over Bury in the Senior Cup.
However, this is not the first time Scholes has been praised by a football celebrity. He has been described by Sir Bobby Charlton as the embodiment of all that he thinks is best about football.
Nani is completely enthralled to see the 36-year-old back in action.
"Scholesy is just incredible and it's a privilege to be in the same squad,"
the 24-year-old player affirmed to the Inside United magazine.
“I said to him the other day in training: ‘Scholesy, you should have stayed at home because you are playing alone.”
“What I mean is that he makes a pass to one wing, goes to support and gets the ball. Then he makes a pass to the other wing, goes to support and gets the ball again. All the time he’s in control of the play.”
The other team doesn’t get near the ball, even in training. They are playing just against him! He’s the best midfielder stated Nani. He can pass, score goals with his left, right, his head. He can do anything.
“And he can beat a player too, plus he loves to nutmeg you! He's unbelievable."
The Manchester United winger also acknowledges the fact that very often Scholes plays so remarkably during the training sessions that other players don’t even get lucky enough to come close to the ball.
