Football Special Report: Rating Liverpool’s Positions and What They Need To Change (Part 2)
Article Continued from Part 1.
The Reds have so far scored only seventeen goals in fifteen games this season and that is just embarrassing for them.
A lot of football pundits believe that the manager needs to take Skrtel out of the running from the first team squad, as this would improve the team’s statistics.
This Slovakian has been out of form this season; he has been consistently faulting and has been giving chances to the opposing team.
Agger is an injury prone player but he would be a good replacement but the best right now would be the Greek Soto Krygiakos, as he is a player just bursting with talent and eager to see more first team play.
So again, Liverpool needs no additions for the central defences they just need to utilize what they already have.

Full Backs
The Reds right back, Glen Johnson has been giving mixed performances and so he has been getting mixed reviews, if he should stay further in the team or not. He is very talented when it comes to attacking the opposing team but he is slightly limited with
his defending skills.
Johnson comments on this matter by saying that Liverpool is an attacking team and his surges into the games attacks, this gives the edge to the team and they always reap the benefits.
A lot of people say that the manager should just set him in the right midfielder position and let the defenders do the defending but other fans believe that this position should stay with Carragher as he is a complete fullback.
Football pundits agree with the player by saying that he is an attacking player and an integral part of an attacking team and the attacks control the results of almost every Liverpool game. But this season has showcased Johnson’s limitations on the field
and the club is suffering because of that.
Kelly is a player in the team that is constantly showing that he is the perfect fullback for this team right now, so there isn’t much of a major change required.
On the other side, the situation is quite opposite as Andrea Dossena, Fabio Aurelio and Emiliano Insua all failed last season and they did not make the first team squad.

This year Paul Konchesky, the new recruit and Aurelio are failing miserably and they still don’t have much support from the manager or the fans.
So right now Agger, Kelly, Carragher and Stephen Darby have been stepping in for this spot, as either the set players are constantly being injured, they are lacking impression or are just unavailable to play.
The Reds have been unsuccessful in finding a good left back, who has good defensive skills, abilities to attack and is able to run to all part of the field to make him available everywhere.
The club needs a new guy with the right mindset and that is definitely needed if the team wants to make a drastic change.
Fine to be fair Cole is running the spot in the Blues and Evra has been doing this for the Red Devils and if Liverpool can’t find a player up to their rank then, at least need some one that has the level of play as Gael Clichy, Aleks Kolarov or Assou-Ekotto.
Liverpool has been trying to find a good player to fill this spot for almost ten years now, so it’s about time they do justice to themselves and get one already.
