Football Special Report: Spanish Liga Preview (Part 4)
This week there are a lot of fixtures that can blow away the viewers of the Spanish La Liga. Barcelona are going to be entertaining the over impressive side Sevilla, who were the ones who were able to defeat the Los Blancos Real Madrid last season.
Real Madrid were in very good form in the previous season and they got a record number of points in the history but it was still Barcelona who managed to defeat Real Madrid in both the legs and it was Sevilla who defeated the Los Blancos as well.
On the other hand, Real Madrid are going to be facing the over-impressive and the newly promoted side Hercules. Even though Real Madrid are on their home “outstanding” run under their newly assigned coach and the former Inter Milan manager Jose Mourinho,
it is still the Spanish side Hercules who managed to defeat Barcelona at their home ground the Nou Camp.
In case Hercules can pull off a major upset in the home of the Los Blancos, the Catalan giants can take full advantage of this and that can only happen if they defeat Sevilla at the Nou Camp. Currently, Barcelona does not have a very good home form; however,
they did win the game against Valencia last week. In Europe, the Catalan giants are proving to be very tough, while they are still struggling in the home games during the Spanish La Liga.
Josep Pep Guardiola has good news this week as his midfield maestro Xavi Hernandez is going to be back. While Lionel Messi, Daniel Alves, David Villa, Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique all enjoyed a good holiday without playing a single game during the midweek
as their manager decided to take his B team while being away from home to Ceuta.
Now is the time when all these teams need to capitalize as most of them are going to be facing difficult tasks next week. Even though Real Madrid and Barcelona are facing tough competitors this week as well, it is the Brazilian striker Nilmar’s side which
is going to be topping the group in case they defeat the team that they are facing this week.
What will happen in the Spanish La Liga this weekend? We can only wait and watch; however, all these teams need to work at their full potential. It is true that Barcelona are tired because of their busy schedule as the full first team was away to South Africa
during the FIFA World Cup 2010 and then later they were also called up for the international duties. The players need to hold on to their nerves and need to perform at their best, while Pep Guardiola needs to concentrate on the players and needs to know who
is tired.
This week’s Spanish La Liga is going to be very interesting and it is definitely a must watch!
