Football Special Report: The Most Worthy of Nominees of the Ballon D’Or Award (Part 2)
Article Continued from Part 1.
Iniesta has almost been as spectacular as Xavi in the midfield and in the season. He is a player that adds to the brilliant Barcelona line up and makes the fans proud.
Andres Iniesta has had a luminous career, he is thought to be in the prime of his football career as he is still only twenty six yet achieved so much. So it is thought that a player of this magnitude will keep continuing making football history and with his so called ‘Majestic’ performances.
He is definitely a player that goes up to the list of one of the best in the world and makes his fans proud. He has also been a key factor in the Spanish national team.
He was a part of the World Cup winning squad in South Africa this summer, he even played in the European Championships at the under sixteen level. He also acclaimed a gold medal in the under nineteen playoffs and then capped the medal for the European Championships in 2008 and made his countrymen proud.
Andries Iniesta was named the man of the match of the FIFA World Cup final as he scored the winning goal for the World Cup.
His creativity on the football field, his skills with the ball and control of the game around him makes his a worthy who just might bag the Player of the Year award this year.

Wesley Sneijder
Wesley Sneijder is a twenty six year old Dutch man who plays for Inter Milan. He also fills the midfielder position in his team and is a part of the first team squad.
He has never been nominated for the Ballon D’or Award before, though he was in the Netherlands World Cup squad that saw its way to the finals and was only thwarted by the Spaniards.
He does not have as many titles to his name as the other two nominees in this list but he only spent a season in Italy and literally won everything there was to win there.
He won the Serie A and the European Champions League title and won the European Player of the Year Award in the 2007-08 season.
This Dutch Man’s only problem is that he has to surpass players like Iniesta and Xavi as they are the only two standing in the pathway to the prestigious Ballon D’Or Award.
