He was actually loaned back to his former club Parma and this was the factor that convinced Villarreal to bring him back to the La Liga for a price for ten million Euros again.
This American star striker fulfilled his true potential in Spain and in his time in the La Liga. In addition, Rossi just like Negredo has scored double figure number goals each season ever since he came back.
Giuseppe Rossi is not the tallest or strongest player but what he lacks in these fields he makes up for it with his vision and technical abilities.
The player is only twenty three years old, has a reputation of having a clever mind on the field, and is also known to bring the best out in his striker partners. For example, Diego Forlan compared to Nilmar in the La Liga.
Giuseppe Rossi has made some minor mentions in conversations that he may be thinking about returning to Serie A and this comes with his lifelong dream of becoming a striker for the Italian national team.
Rossi’s leave will be a major loss for Villarreal and for the whole league for that matter and right now Villarreal fans are hoping for a season remarkable enough that it makes Rossi stay.
Karim Benzema
Karim Benzema’s time with Real Madrid was disappointing as such and this twenty two year old player joined Kaka and Ronaldo as another shining star of Galactico 2.0 in 2009. This French International was also bought by Real Madrid for an amount of thirty
five million Euros from Olympique Lyonnais.
This player has technical abilities, pace, an eye for the goal and power, so to summarize it all he has everything needed to be a good striker.
Though part of his Bernabeu struggles have been because as Madrid players the 4-2-3-1 system which only leave one single striker in front without any partner and this place is always occupied by some other player.
Despite all these facts, it is believed that Benzema has a very bright future at Real Madrid and is considered to be one of the best strikers alive, when he plays in his top form.
It stands as a land mark as this twenty two year old has already played in the top level of world football for years now and already has made twenty nine appearances for the French national team.
Still Benzema has a lot to improve and if he continues to develop like he has been developing in the last few years, then it is only a matter of time before we see him in a list of the world’s best players of football.
Fernando Llorente
This hit man is better known as El Rey Leon, adopted from Disney’s Lion King. This six feet and five inches tall player had proved himself as one of the biggest threats on the pitch for his opponents.
Fernando Llorente is one of La Liga’s top player and this twenty five year old had immense aerial skills, great advantage because of his height and varying technical abilities. He is considered to be a deadly force at the front of the pitch.
It took some time for this player to make the first team squad in Athletic and ever since then has improved immensely every season. Llorente has become the star striker of the club that keeps breaking all barriers and keeps on surprising everyone with their
play and track record.
Last season this player scored eight goals in the Europa League and fourteen goals in the La Liga and Llorente was also a part of the Spanish World Cup squad in South Africa.
Though this player only saw playtime in a single game of the tournament, he was a vital contributor in the one to nil second round victory for the country over Portugal.
He has scored three goals already in this season and he is ready to go much further this year and hopes to enjoy a heavy goal scoring season.
