Football Special Report: Top Ten Dutch Players to Come to the English Premier League (Part 2)
Robin van Persie
The next on the list is another Feyenoord player who made a move to England. Robin van Persie came in 2004 after playing three seasons with a Rotterdam based club.
At the age of twenty seven, Van Persie is known to be a player that gets injured quickly, his fans and the club have seen him in his off and on times with being injured a lot.
Robin van Persie has made a hundred and ninety nine appearances for the Gunners, that makes an average of just twenty seven matches per season, and this is not even counting the 2010 campaign, as he has already been injured and is off the field for the time being.
All things aside Robin Van Persie is know all over the world for his authoritative strikes, which can range from anywhere from the final third to the goal post.
No matter what football pundits may complain about him, he has always had a concrete spot in the Arsenal first team to play.
Robin van Persie is still able, healthy and in good shape. The player seems to always maintain his form and his career can always shoot skywards and put him on the list of most influential Dutch players in the English Premier League.

Arjen Robben
Arjen Robben has a reputation of being a very agile and speedy player; he has only played three seasons for Chelsea and has scored nineteen goals from a hundred and two appearances for the club. He has showcased his own talents all over Europe in both the national and the club fixtures.
Robben is known by most for his outlandish goal ranges, as the player has the ability to score from a far and from really up close. He has made a reputation because of these goals and always remains a major threat on the field.
Robben is a dazzling and fascinating winger, just twenty six years old and many years ahead of him with his professional career sparkling. If he is keeps performing on the level that he did in his first season with Bayern Munich, then there is a lot to be expected from him in the 2010 season.

Marc Overmars
Marc Overmars is known to be speedy and quick and played the role of winger when playing for ‘the Gunners.’
Overmars was brought to the Premiership and introduced to the English style of play in 1997 and was bought from Ajax for a price of five and a half million pounds.
However, the player did leave Arsenal after three years and went on to play with Barcelona for a then-record transfer fee of twenty five million pounds.
The winger is five foot and eight inches tall and is very skilled with both feet and this makes him a deadly provider from any side of the pitch and always remains the centre of attention of the opposing team’s defences.
Overmars most memorable performance in the English Premier League would be when the player scored game winning goal for Arsenal against Manchester United for the F.A. Cup final.

Jaap Stam
Jaap Stam is still considered to be one of the most dominating centres back to have ever played in the Premier League and the fact that he was Dutch makes us put him in this list today.
He played three seasons with Manchester United and he went through to see that the Red Devils hoist an FA Cup trophy, an Intercontinental Cup, three Premiership titles and a UEFA Champions League Title.
A lot of people still argue what if Stam had not been transferred to Lazio back in 2001, then how different the team’s fate would have been.
