In 2005, Wayne Rooney was also awarded the PFA Young Player of the Year award for his game play in the 2004-05 season.
He scored a whopping eleven goals in the English premier League for the Red Devils and won this title for the first time in his career.

In the 2005-06 season, Wayne Rooney was Red Carded for the first time and sent off the field in the match against Villarreal in September 2005 in a Champions league match.
He was sent off on the referee’s digression when he teased the ref even when he was being blamed for an unintentional foul on an opposing team’s player.

In the 2007-08 season, Rooney was injured in the match against Reading F.C. and this former Toffee’s star was injured with a damaged left metatarsal and had to be benched for six weeks.
Manchester United finished with a goal less draw in the opening match of the English Premier League on the twelfth August 2007.
 
Another Premier League Title for Rooney
In the 2007-08 season, he got his second English Premier League title win and celebrated his second medal while playing with Manchester United.
As the Red Devils finished at the top of the table in the English Premier League again.
