Greater Success: The 2008 Champions League Title
On the twenty first of May 2008, Wayne Rooney added another trophy to his name when he kissed the UEFA Champions League trophy as achieved a win against Chelsea and won the first ever all English Final.
The match ended on penalties, and the result came out in favour of Manchester United. Rooney ended the season with eighteen goals scored in the season with twelve of them being in the Premiership.

In the 2008-09 season, Wazza made his ‘two hundredth’ English Premier League appearance and celebrated this day with scoring a goal against the Blackburn Rovers on their own home ground this came on fourth October 2008.
Rooney vs. Tottenham Hotspurs
In the match against Tottenham Hotspurs on the twenty fifth of April 2009, he netted his last goal of the season and this came out in a very memorable manner.
Manchester United was down two to nil in the middle of the match and he put in his best to give Manchester United a five to two win.
He literally turned the tables by scoring two goals in that match, and he even set up another two attempts for the win.
In the end, the match went onto penalties and the match finished with the score boards reading five to two in favour of the Red Devils.
A Late Goal in The 2009 Community Shield
In the 2009 Community Shield match, Wayne Rooney scored in the ninetieth minute of the match and he tried his best to give Manchester United the Community Shield win against the Blues.
But the match went onto penalties and the Red Devils lost the match.
100 Goals For Manchester United
In the 2009-10 season Wayne Rooney netted his one hundredth goal and became the Red Devil’s twentieth player in their history to cross the hundredth goals scored threshold.
This goal came in the match against Wigan Athletic in a Premier League match and he scored twice in the fixture to make this record on the twenty second of August 2009.
Hat-Trick Against Portsmouth
Again in the 2008-09 season Wazza continued to show his exemplary form and scored his first hat-trick in three years in a match against Portsmouth F.C. in the Premiership.
This came in an away fixture and two goals came from penalty kicks.
Rooney Nets Four Goals Against Hull City
For the first time in his career, Wayne Rooney scored four goals in a single match and this came on the twenty third of January 2010. He netted four goals in a fixture against Hull City and miraculously three goals out of the four goals came in the last
ten minutes of the match.
Wayne Rooney’s 100th Premier League Goal
On the thirty first of January 2010, he scored his hundredth English Premier League goal in a match against the Gunners and it came from an away match which resulted in a three to one win for the Red Devils.
Against AC Milan
Wazza scored two goals against AC Milan at the San Siro on the sixteenth of February 2010 and this English man was also ready to humiliate the Italians further in the second leg fixture which was going to be at Old Trafford.
