Football Top Fives for October 28th, 2010 – Part 2
Top five matches to keep an eye on this weekend:
First on the list comes the English Premier League match when Tottenham Hotspurs would go against Manchester United on Saturday. This would be the third ranked team on the table hosting a match for the fifth ranked team. Red Devils are working hard to keep
their unbeaten streak and so are the Lily Whites. This will surely be a competitive match as both teams aim for the title win this season.
Next on the list is the Championship match on Saturday with Norwich City going up against Cardiff City. These are two of the top four teams in the Championship, meeting up for the playoff position and promotion.
Then comes the League One match with Colchester United going up against Bournemouth. Both teams are just aiming to score as many points as they possibly can to get ahead of each other and closer towards the League One Cup.
This is the League One match with Brighton and Hove Albion up against Peterborough United. It would be the third ranked team in League One hosting the team at the top. Brighton are in full throttle and bringing out their big guns to get ahead of their League
One contenders. Last on this list is the League Two team, Shrewsbury Town going against Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday. Both are in the playoff position and just strengthening their positions for their next clash.
Five matches you might want to just get the score on TV:
On top of this list is the Championship match between Preston North End and Leicester City on Saturday. These two squads have only won seven matches from the twenty six fixtures that they have played and are trying to get out of the relegation spot.
Then comes the Premier League match between Wigan Athletic and Fulham on Saturday. These two teams are lying just a little above the relegation zone and their aim is to just confirm their spot in the English Premier League.
Another Championship match between Bristol City and Middlesbrough is also on Saturday. These two teams are in the relegation zone and meeting just to score some points so they can bag a spot out of relegation and thus have the chance to play in the big
league next season. Then is the League One match between Hartlepool United and Dagenham & Redbridge. These two are at the deep end of the League One table as Hartlepool, being at the very bottom, is going against the eighteenth ranked team and trying to move one spot ahead
and out of the embarrassing lowest spot in the league. Last on the list is the Premier League match between West Ham United and Arsenal on Saturday. The Hammers have been struggling all season and have won only one of their last six matches. This comes as a nuisance team for the Gunners given that they keep
up the form they have been giving recently.
