Football Transfer News: Ronaldinho and AC Milan finally reach on mutual contract agreement
The latest news from San Siro has informed that the Brazilian legend http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldinho-c31733 will be leaving Italian giants AC Milan this fall. It has been confirmed that the former Barcelona player will be making his exit from the Reds and Blacks this January and instead
will be joining a Brazilian club.
Now though it has been confirmed that the Brazilian international will be heading back home it hasn’t been officially confirmed what club he is going to be joining yet. This means his favoured club Gremio is still under speculation.
All this has been revealed by the player and the agent of the player who, as a matter of fact, is his brother too. Previously all parties were having difficulties in agreeing upon a mutual contract mainly because of financial matters but all that seems in
the past now as the contract seems to have dissolved.
Ronaldinho along with his agent Roberto De Assis and the Vice-President of AC Milan Adriano Galliani held a press conference in which he clarified the whole saga. It was Galliani however who voiced the surprising news stating that Rossoneri had decided to end
the whole dilemma by burning the contract.
Galliani declared on the issue, “Milan officially announces that it has accepted the request for Ronaldinho, but we have not terminated the contract with the player.”
He continued, “We are determined to help him return to play in Brazil, although this causes a great pain to (Milan president Silvio) Berlusconi. I will not leave Brazil until the player has chosen his new team.”
His agent also commented at the moment. De Assis informed that it was unclear as yet what club will Ronaldinho will join yet, “I spoke with Gremio, Palmeiras, Flamengo and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Corinthians-c38855, but it was difficult to convince Milan (to let him leave).”
He added, “There are many suitors but I'm not holding an auction, everyone can afford Ronaldinho.”
Ronaldinho was not a quiet duck either and he answered the much awaited questions as to why he wanted to leave Italy and return back home to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858. He also commented on his link with Gremio.
Ronaldinho uttered, “I feel great affection for Gremio, but it will difficult to make a decision because Gremio is my home. However, (Luiz Felipe) Scolari's http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Flamengo-c39361 are great as well.”
He concluded by stating, “It is not an economic issue (to return to Brazil). All I care about is playing football. I am still a player and there is a World Cup in Brazil in four years' time, which is why I'm back.”
