http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mauro-Boselli-c24964 fails medical at Genoa FC
Wigan Athletic striker Mauro Boselli has failed the medical at Genoa, which has put a halt to his transfer to the Serie A side. Reports reveal it was because of a 8mm muscular lesion, the existence of which was discovered during the various tests. The 25-year-old failed to establish himself in the English side and he was hoping to end the season with the Italian side, but a move now seems highly unlikely. Boselli arrived at Wigan for a fee of €9.8 million and was undoubtedly the biggest flop of the season as he had been unable to find the back of the net in his last eight appearances in the Premier League.
Roberto http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Martinez-c24468, the Wigan Athletic manager was confident a move abroad would help the ineffective striker find his form. He said he would love to welcome the striker back after he adapted to the physicality and pace of the Premier League. He said while speaking to reporters, “We are trying to finalize that deal. At the moment it is not 100 per cent because Mauro has still got a little tear in his hamstring, and that is the reason why he has not been involved in the last two games, but over the next few hours we will find out what is the final destination for him.”
However, there are no confirmed reports yet, as to whether the deal will go through or not.
