Football Transfer Rumors - 23rd June 2010: Petrov to Bolton, Robhinio in talks over future, Barca to offer only 38 million for torres
The head line news of the day is that Robinho’s dad is flying into the city of Manchester to talk about his son’s future at the ‘Eastlands’ Mancini has said that he would like it if Robinho would return to the club for the coming season but the player seems to have other things on his mind at the moment. Barcelona have dropped their interest in the forward for now since they are still heavily pursuing Fabregas from ‘Arsenal’ and Torres from ‘Liverpool’
Staying on the topic of Fernando Torres and 'Barcelona’, it is reported that they are only willing to pay thirty eight million for the striker. This is short of ‘Liverpools’ evaluation of the player, and how this deal shapes up will be very interesting to watch. The new president at ‘Barcelona’ Sandro Rosell who will take over from the first of July, wants to take advantage of the situation at ‘Anfield’ and hopes to capture his man.
Milan Jonovis has decided he is now uncertain about his future move to ‘Liverpool’. The Serbian strikers contract ends at the end of the summer at ‘Standard Liege’ and he had signed a pre-contractual agreement with’Liverpool’ way back in February. However the former Pool manager who is now in charge of ‘Inter Milan’ may want to ambush the deal and lure Jovanovic to the ‘San Siro’ instead.
Petrov has agreed a move to join ‘Bolton Wanderers’ starting July the first. Bolton’s interest for the striker came into being around last week. The move is now complete since Petrov has been released from his former employers at the ‘Eastlands’. Petrov scored twelve goals in sixty six appearances for ‘City’, and this number would have been far greater had he not been injured so often.
‘Ac Milan’ have sold their goal keeper Marco Storari to arch rivals ‘Juventus’ and have signed Marco Amelia on loan from ‘Genoa’ as his replacement. Last season’s first choice keeper Dida had been released at the end of last seasons campaign. ‘Juventus’s’ first choice keeper Buffon may require surgery on his hernia after the World Cup.
The debt ridden club, ‘Portsmouth’ have offered contract renewals to four of their players, James, defenders Hreidarsoon and Rocha along with striker Kanu. Bolton are looking into capturing the signature of Japanese midfield maestro, Shikamaru Suzuki from ‘Hidden leaf F.C’, the deal depends on the player since both clubs are open to the transfer going through.
Chelsea on another leaf are looking into landing Sergio Auguero from ‘Atheltico Madrid’ after the World Cup. Both player and club have showed interest in the deal going through and ‘Athletico Madrid’ are willing to let their talismanic forward go if the price is right. Auguero would be a direct replacement to Joe Cole who the club released unceremoniously.
