Football Transfer Update: Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola not to block http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gabriel-Milito-c14321 loan move

The manager of Spanish giants Barcelona, Pep Guardiola has claimed that he will not become an obstacle if Gabriel Milito wants to leave the club. The former player of Barcelona revealed that Milito wants to clock more time on field, hence it is a possibility
that the player might leave the club as early as this January’s transfer window.

Early this week, reports from Camp Nou had revealed that the Argentine international was eager to leave Barcelona for the rest of the season. Later sources informed that the player was looking forward to sign in a contract with the Spanish club Genoa.
So far pundits have predicted there is a strong chance the player will leave the club on loan and call Genoa as his new home.
Guardiola, on the other hand, has stated that though he hasn’t had a proper chat with the centre-back, nonetheless he will not stop the player if he wants to leave the club. However, this will indeed lead Blaugrana search for a new defender in January to
add more talent within their ranks.

Guardiola revealed to media, “He has not spoken to me about it. (Sporting director Andoni) Zubizarreta told me about the situation and Milito knows how I feel, so he has to decide.”

On the decision making pressure Guardiola commented, “There are decisions I make and those the club makes, but this is purely down to him. Knowing him, I understand, but I’m not hurt. It is impossible to feel hurt by Gaby. I understand him. Believe me, I’ve
been a footballer, and know what it‘s like.”

Guardiola also expressed that at the moment all departments of the club are running like a well oiled machine and he is optimistic about the future. He also informed that the team is ready for the Round of 16 Copa del Rey encounter against Athletic Bilbao.
This will be an intense match as the first leg was at Camp Nou, ending up with a goalless match.

The 39-year-old manager expressed on the class saying, “We expect a packed stadium. That doesn’t mean we underestimate other games, we don’t do that. If that was the case, we wouldn’t have achieved what we have. At 10.00 we will be trying to qualify, and at
12.00 we can talk about what’s happened.”

He added, “(If Barca are eliminated) we will have more days to rest. That’s no problem, because last season, without the cup, we got 99 points in the league and got to the semi-finals of the Champions League.”
Now that Milito has stated he wants to make a switch in town it will be interesting to see who will replace the experienced centre back with the Athletic Bilbao right up on them. There is little doubt the Milito will be part of the match, as if he sustains
an injury the possible loan move will be ruled out.
