Football Transfer Update: Blackburn Rovers preparing to sign in Boca Juniors’ Argentine legend Juan Roman Riquelme

Currently, the veteran is playing in the top tier Argentine League for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385 plan an audacious bid for the attacking midfielder. Juan is well recognized for his play making abilities and that is why Rovers want
to sign him after acquiring their long lost asset http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roque-Santa-Cruz-c31778.
Mark Hughes, Manchester City’s former manager was able to sign in the striker from the Riversiders; however, lack of pitch time downed his form and he eventually grew out of favour at Eastlands. With moves in place, Rovers are
finally building up a team that has the capability to compete at par in English Premier League.
Should Blackburn strike gold, then this would certainly be a surprising move back to Europe for the former Barcelona player. The coveted midfielder is aged 32 now. Hence, he does not have a very long career ahead of him; at least
not long enough to place the club on the right track.
The 32-year-old star is expected to join the Blue and Whites in the January transfer window.
The English club declared to reinforce its talent pool and wanted to sign in the legendary Brazilian Ronaldinho. Although, it could be said that the deal did not materialize due to financial constraints, but majorly because the
30-year-old maestro wanted to play for a Brazilian club after leaving AC Milan.
On bringing new talent into the club and the possibility of the former Argentine international playing for Blackburn Rovers, agent Barry McIntosh stated in a press release, “I have spoken with Jerome Anderson, who is doing a lot
of work for Blackburn Rovers, about Riquelme and it is being thought about.”
In comparison to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldinho-c31733, McIntosh declared, “He could prove a great alternative to Ronaldinho, but there is nothing definite yet.”
Although Riquelme had a lustrous career when he was in full swing playing for Villarreal, the player decided to return to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Argentina-c2841 to play in the local League during the January of 2007.
The statements of Riquelme are yet to arrive and only then, a better picture will be presented. Nonetheless, it can be expected from Blackburn to fight tooth and nail to acquire this player.
