German Bundesliga club, Borussia Dortmund’s manager Jurgen Klopp is speculated to take over the reins from current Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson, but the mastermind manager just laughs the thought away.
Most teams have players that prove to be the crown’s jewel in a club’s success but in case of Borussia Dortmund, the man heading them is their most valuable asset. Rumours of Jurgen Klopp’s departure are rife after the manager evolved
the club, taking them into the upper echelons of the German league. Now even the club officials have confirmed that the manager has no intentions of leaving yet, rumours do not seem to stop circulating.
When questioned repeatedly about his future, Klopp reiterated after his prior statements that he will not be leaving the club and looks ahead to a bright future with the German squad.
However, the word is adrift that Klopp will be replacing the current manager of Liverpool Roy Hodgson after the Merseyside manager provided the Reds with a stream of bad performances, making his further stay at Liverpool uncertain.
Some pundits are expecting this would happen even before the January transfer window closes. It is said that the new owners of Liverpool, NESV had a hard talk with the former Fulham manager and are unhappy with the progress they
have seen. Another man on the rise for Liverpool is their former manager Kenny Dalglish.
Klopp recently stated that he has no involvement in the sacking of Hodgson and that decision alone resides with the owners of Liverpool. On the issue he stated, “There has been no approach and there's no point talking about it.”
At the moment Borussia Dortmund are on top of the German League, Bundesliga. They have surprised all other clubs having won 14 of their 17 games. His attacking formations and strategies are admirable; something that Liverpool has been missing for some time
now.
Klopp, 43-year-old has been heading the German club since the summers of 2008. Soon after his arrival on the platform, he has reinvented the image of the club and that is one of the reasons why officials of the club are unwilling to let him go.
The club’s chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke has shown complete confidence in his manager. Watzke praised the manager saying he was hopeful that Klopp will help them regain the League title after 8 years.
Watzke expressed, “There's been no official approach because it would be a waste of time.”
He added, “Everybody knows there's no chance we'd let him go. We can but laugh (about this story). Jürgen is a friend of mine and he has a contract until 2014. He would never break it.”
