Latest media reports from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 have it that Deportivo La Coruna’s star midfielder Juan Rodriguez will be out to play with Spanish club Getafe next season.
This surprising news has arrived after Rodriguez himself confirmed of the developments between the clubs showing his will to make a transfer next season.
Sources have revealed the defensive midfielder Rodriguez will be in contract with El Geta, who acquired 6th position in La Liga last season. The president of Getafe, Angel Torres has also confirmed of the progress. Hence,
it can be expected that the club will be signing in some new players this winter or in the coming summer.
The contract services of 28-year-old Rodriguez will expire come this season end. Hence, prior to his departure, the player’s agent has presented another chance to reignite his career.
Rodriguez came to play at Deportivo La Coruna in 2006 and since then he has made 202 appearances for the club in which he has scored 17 times.
Before playing for Deportivo La Coruna, his services were entitled to Malaga, joining them in 2003 and stayed with them until 2006. Rodriguez, who was bred from the ranks of Malaga made 58 appearances and scored 6 goals during
his stay at the former club.
Recent rumours from Spain have also informed that Getafe will be signing a couple of new players this season. Officials from the club have informed that they will be mainly from Spain but exceptions can be made.
