Football Transfer Update: La Liga News- Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent Raiola declares no deal between Barcelona and AC Milan
Mino Raiola can be considered among the busiest agents this year. He has provided the media with all kinds of news this summer and in essence has given them all tools to create different gossips on his customer world class Swedish player Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
While he stated that there was a very rare chance of the player landing up in San Siro playing for his former team; Inter Milan’s bitter rivals AC Milan but has twisted in such manner that it now seems the player is about to make his future with the Devils.
However, the president of AC Milan, Adriano Gallani and the coach of Barcelona Pep Guardiola has announced that the deal is on the verge of being signed. Raiola has stated to the contrary saying that both parties are far from agreeing on mutual terms in the contract.
The men from San Siro and Camp Nou had earlier confirmed that the clauses of the deal had been finalized, even the salary of the player had been decided upon. All that remained was the transfer amount and there were no major issues about that either, so basically it was a done deal.
They had even informed that AC Milan will assess the player for the season and they will probably come to Barcelona with an official bid for the player regarding a permanent transfer.
Right now the deal has clauses like the player will be signed on loan for two years and it is said that the papers will be signed this Friday.
Raiola has informed that there is no truth to it and the player is expected to stay at Barcelona. He stated, “It's a difficult negotiation as both sides are very far from reaching an agreement.”
He continued, “Ibrahimovic is following developments though, but we are still in a warming up phase. It will be a long week made up of talks and meetings, but luckily Ibrahimovic does not have a club that has asked him to leave. Therefore he is serene.”
Earlier in the week, Galliani informed that he would be staying in Barcelona. So far, he has been present in a lot of meetings and the general expectation is that a deal is going to be signed. Therefore, whatever differences there are, they will be resolved before 31st August when the transfer window closes.
Right now, it is speculated that Raiola, Galliani, Rosell, Guardiola and board members will sit around a table during the weekend and put an end to this dilemma.
