Football Transfer Update: Santa Cruz considering move from Citizens and back to Bundesliga
Roque Santa Cruz is a 29-year-old Paraguayan that currently plays for Manchester City. Playing as a striker he started his career in 1990 from Olimpia moving through Bayern Munich, Blackburn Rovers and then to Manchester City in 2009.
Rumours are floating about regarding this player that in the January transfer window he might make a move back to the German Bundesliga.
The Paraguayan has spent eight years in German football and was a great success in Bayern Munich as he made a hundred and fifty five appearances with them and in the process scored thirty one goals.
Santa Cruz has also spent a lot of time at Ewood Part as he made fifty seven appearances there with twenty three goals scored.
He has become a surplus at the Citizens and now it is possible that he may have had enough of it now therefore move out and find a new home for himself.
This player is constantly being benched because of all the new additions that came in the summer this player has become a second choice striker in the team.
Reports have been coming in from right after his injury he is thinking of not coming back at all and moving to the Bundesliga.
A lot of football pundits and even some voices at the Eastlands are saying that Santa Cruz might make a move out of Manchester City.
Santa Cruz even commented on this matter when asked in an interview: "Definitely, I am considering my future and I understand people in Germany may believe I am currently injured. This is delusion."

"I have been fully fit since the World Cup tournament. I have no troubles, I am feeling great, training every day and physically I am stronger than I ever was before. "
The player has openly expressed his interests in moving to the Bundeliga as he says that it is a more competitive league compared to the English Premier League. He praised them saying they have amazing clubs and huge stadiums.
He ended the interview by saying that he always felt comfortable in Germany and has always been a success there in the past.
Though another thing is for certain and that is this player is not going to be transferred out of the Eastlands on pennies, instead with a rather huge transfer fee in place. Hence the question is who will buy him as there are only a few
clubs left in Germany that might be able to afford such a player.
