Football Transfer Update: Udinese forward Alexis Sanchez should join interested Manchester United, Agent Fernando Felicevich
Amidst all speculation, rumours and reports, the agent of Chilean prodigy Alexis Sanchez has taken up the role of being a perfectly typical agent, as he neither admitted nor denied interest shown by any club in the star player.
However, agent Fernando Felicevich has still not hesitated or lost a chance to admire the talent of Sanchez and has constantly been up front to voice what might be best for the player.
In the most recent press release by the agent, he has stated that the Premier League will suit Sanchez very well.
Felicevich stated that after he finally admitted that the Red Devils were still interested in signing the Udinese winger.
While talking to media, Fernando Felicevich revealed that the English footballing powerhouse was still eyeing the player. With the winter transfer window approaching fast many pundits and experts had reckoned that Sanchez might
make a move in January.
Now, the agent has contradicted that by saying he is sure the 21-year-old Chilean international will spend the whole season with the Italian outfit. He stated that a January transfer from the Serie A team was not very likely, but
this is not the first time the player and the agent are having a clash of opinions.
Earlier, Sanchez had stated that he knew Malaga; the La Liga team from Spain had enough funds to cash him in therefore he would like to make a move to the Spanish club. Felicevich, on the other hand, has stated that a move to England
would be more preferable and in favour of the young talent.
Udinese have valued their player to be around 20 million Euros, an amount which both clubs will be willing to pay. Hence, all the speculation about the player’s transfer is further complicated.
While talking to media, Felicevich commented, “For the time being we do not have any fresh news. I don’t think he will move in the January transfer window, but maybe in the summer. We will see.”
The agent also said, “Yes, they [Manchester United] are watching him, and it could be a possibility in the future. I have heard that another Premier League club also enquired, but they didn’t contact me.”
When a player has an offer from a club like Manchester United then the decision is bound to be teaser. The club is easily reckoned one of the best in the world with top-notch players filling the field.
Also, it is being managed by the legendary manager, Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman himself has admitted that he has kept an eye on the player. Nonetheless, Manchester United and Malaga are not the only clubs looking to sign
the player. The German Bundesliga outfit Hamburg has also shown interest in signing the player. Therefore, the player has a wider choice to pick from.
Currently, Sanchez has a running contract with Udinese until 2014. Hence, the price of the player is bound to be high. Therefore, at the end a transfer and wage fee war may decide which club the player will join.
