Football Update: AC Milan Awful, But 2-0 Loss Not the End of the Time (Part 2)
Moreover, it is always good for any club buy sing players like Robinho and Ibrahimovic. Much needed attackers for the Italian giants. Hopefully they will come good and shine eventually. Without a doubt, in being preoccupied about building a world-class attack
full of players that will sell Milan shirts, the defence has been neglected.
On Saturday night the shocking defeat Milan faced was paid because of negligence in defence. Milan is home of Legendary defender Maldini, and surely it was not expected from the Italian Giants to lose against the newly promoted club who are having a Serie
A experience after 19 years. It was indeed a very poor defensive performance from the Red and Blacks. Hopefully such night will not come again in near future, at least for this season.

Without the most charismatic and experienced defender, Alessandro Nesta, Milan are a totally different team. Nesta is now 33 year old and age being the main concern for the Milan’s Boss Allegeri, it is very certain that the aging legend will miss a number of
games this season too. Without Alessandro Nesta, another result like that seen on Saturday night is a near-certainty. Milan can not entirely depend on their young central defenders Thiago Silva and new signing Sokratis.

Moreover, it was also not that impressive performance from the Milan midfield. There are high expectations from the midfielder magicians. Sure, the legendary Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf, Mathieu Flamini and young Ghana International Prince are sidelined
for few months due to injuries. So they may have not been available to play and with their presence things could and probably would have been different for the Italian Giants who are favourites of winning the Italian League, Serie A.
Nonetheless, it is the midfield that is still the greatest weakness of this current Milan side. A.C Milan should have bought a new talented midfielder in the summer transfer window, as it is not possible for Italian Giants to simply rely on the aging veteran
Gennaro Gattuso. Without a doubt there is a lot of quality play-maker playing at the San Siro, but aging Seedorf is facing injury problems and over the last season his performance was not up to the standard which was expected from him.
Another midfielder, Mathieu Flamini's capacity to deliver is also questionable. He has failed to give impressive performance for the Milan so far and Milan boss would not be expecting much from him.
Injuries are part of the game. And it will not be shocking to see Milan boss Allegri forced to field a midfield with the likes of Milan skipper Ambrosini, Pirlo and Gattuso.

The most notable and the only problem with this midfield trio was that Pirlo proved to be the only midfield magician. Pirlo was the only ball-playing midfielder. While other two, Ambrosini and Gattuso were more at the defensive role. Pirlo was surely not given
the support to create some magic in the midfield and help the world best attack which is playing in front of them.

Unfortunately, these defensive and midfield issues cannot be resolved any time soon, not least until the January transfer market.

Moreover, one of the problems that was clearly present on the weekend and that needs to be solved urgently rather than later is that the four attackers should form a team chemistry that will make them the most feared attacks in the world.

All clubs have some deficiencies, even the champions. But, it is also very important that whatever strengths a team has, the team plays it in order to make the most of them.
If Milan wants to bring some silverware at San Siro, these all issues need to be solved. If in given time frame they achieve this they will surely win some trophy.
