Football Update: Blackpool Latest News
The talismanic striker of Seasiders insists that he would not be surprised if his legendary boss, Ian Holloway, alerted the attention of bigger clubs after Blackpool’s surprise start to the season.
Ian has worked wonders at Blackpool since his arrival as he transformed the Seasiders from Championship flops and led them to promotion for the first time in their history. Moreover, Ian Holloway’s Blackpool are sitting comfortably in Barclays Premier League
at the bottom of the top half of the table i.e. 10th position.
DJ Campbell, who is vital member of Ian’s Blackpool team, admits he would not be surprised if other clubs were interested in Ian’s services:
"I would not be surprised if anyone else was interested in him because he's doing such a fantastic job. If he were to leave the club it would be hard but he would leave as a legend."
The Seasiders have surpassed all expectations so far this season by playing attractive football and engraving their name in the top half of the table for a long time.
Campbell believes that managers will be inspired by the Blackpool’s attitude:
He added: "I think that a lot of managers have seen how we are playing and thought 'if Blackpool are having a go, why don't we? In the last 10 years of watching the Premier League I've not seen so many of the promoted and so-called smaller teams having
a go at the big teams.
Moreover, the Seasiders could face a pile up of home games towards the end of the season if their next game on Sunday falls victim to the weather.

Blackpool have already reversed their opening match against Wigan Athletic. Moreover, Blackpool have had to postpone two matches against Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspurs.

Blackpool’s opening day match against Wigan Athletic was reversed because their home stadium the Bloomfield Road was not fully completed. But Blackpool’s matches against Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspurs were called off as the Bloomfield Road does not
have under-soil heating.
Moreover, the Seasiders have already hinted to the English FA that their game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 on Boxing Day at Bloomfield Road is already in doubt due to severe weather conditions in U.K.

Karl Oyston, the chairman of Blackpool, said: "We can almost certainly guarantee the pitch will be playable [on Boxing Day] but it is the prevailing conditions once the covers have been removed and whether the pitch will freeze before the end of the game
taking place.”
These home fixtures become an issue because it might be seen to give Ian Holloway’s men a biased benefit over other sides striving for survival in English Top League.
