Football Update: EPL Report- English Football Fives (Part 2)
The next match is a game to keep an eye out for. It is a first league match with Milton Keynes Dons against Peterborough United. The third placed team in the league is hosting the match for the fifth and both the clubs are going against each other to make
the charts on the top of the League one table.
Next is a League two match with Port Bale and Accrington Stanley. This match is the second ranked league team against the sixth one and as Accrington Stanley is trying to make the top five of the group; they cannot afford to lose this match.
The next match is another second league match and is between Chesterfield and Rotherham United. Both the teams have stuck their hands into the league and are adamant on making the top five spots.
Last comes the list of matches that would be best served only by checking the scores later.
On top of this list is the Championship match of Leicester City against Portsmouth on Friday. These two teams are at the bottom of the table, Portsmouth is aiming at scoring a single goal, and that’s it, so this match is not considered
one of those that would keep the viewers on their seats.
The next in line is a league one match between Walsall and Hartlepool United on Saturday and the twentieth and the eighteenth rankers are trying to come out of the relegation zone.
The League two matches coming up between Barnet and Morecambe is on Saturday and the twenty first ranker has a home match against Barnet. The only option that they have now is to score a minimum of three points in the match to get out of relegation.
The fourth match in this list is the one between Brentford and Leyton Orient. This match is on Friday and is Leyton’s last chance to pull them out of the bottom depths of league one. The team will be going against Brentford that are nineteenth in rank in
the league.
The last match on the list is the Championship match between the Crystal Palace against Derby County, the two teams only have twelve points after playing a series of fourteen matches, and both are trying their best to get out of relegation.
