Football Update: German Striker Miroslav Klose agent confirms Real Madrid interest
The agent of Miroslav Klose confirms about Real Madrid interest in him as they are in search of a striker after the injury to their striker Gonzalo Higuain. German striker was seeking a move abroad as he was no longer a guaranteed player in the starting
eleven for Bayern Munich. The 32-year-old is more than pleased for a move abroad to test his abilities elsewhere.
Klose’s agent revealed that Real Madrid head coach, Jose Mourinho, is seriously in touch with him regarding a winter transfer this month. "There have been some enquiries from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011," Alexander Schuett informed.
"Also there have been some tentative enquiries from Real, but nothing more than that,”he added.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Miroslav-Klose-c26049 has only managed to score four goals in 11 appearances this season and has failed to score the last seven Bundesliga appearances. Current sparkling form of Mario Gomez has also hindered Klose’s progress at Munich as he has fallen down the
pecking order.
These issues have forced Klose to look elsewhere as he is finding first team opportunities hard to come by.
Key striker Gonzalo Higuain is a long-term absentee for Real Madrid and the Spanish giants are desperate to find his replacement. It is believed that the replacement will only be a temporary one as Jose Mourinho, manager of Los Blancos wants a striker who
can fill in for the prolific Argentine till he’s injured.
English Premier League strugglers, Wolverhampton Wanderers are also rumoured to be interested in signing the German veteran but a move to the Molineux seems unlikely as Klose is expected to play at a club where he will be in contention for titles.
The German international is more than happy to leave his current club and move elsewhere as his abilities are not being fully used this season. The 32-year-old maybe forced to pursue his career elsewhere.
The German striker has an absolutely classy career from which none can disagree. His class can be determined by the fact that he scored most goals in consecutive World Cups for Germany and second all time leading goal scorer in World Cup along with Gerd
Muller by scoring 14 goals. He is also second all time goal scorer for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 scoring 58 goals for his team. He was awarded the Golden Boot at the World Cup 2006. This sublime performance prompted Bayern Munich to take him in their squad in 2007/08 season.
He was affected with some injuries which didn’t help out the cause for Klose in Bayern Munich this season.
