Football Update: Manchester United looking to sign Palermo’s sensation Javier Pastore

The Red Devils are finally going to make a breakthrough in the market as they are not famous in doing so. The English team which is currently under Glazers has acquired a lot in the history of the Premier League but it if there is one thing that they Manchester
United did not accomplish, it was the market.
The English side is barely seen penetrating in the transfer market as their youth system is basically the one providing them with extraordinary talent. Players like Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Roy Keane and even David Beckham came from the Manchester
United youth academy and only the Spanish side Barcelona are the ones who can compete with Manchester United whenever it comes down to producing outstanding young talent. Maybe that is the reason why Sir Alex Ferguson gave out a comment saying that he would
have loved to coach the Catalan side; however, Manchester United and Barcelona come from the same type of system so it is not heartbreaking that he did not make a move there.
After the whole Wayne Rooney saga, Sir Alex Ferguson was gifted with some cash from the owners of Manchester United who wanted him to buy some stars for the club who could replace the old players like Edwin Van der Saar, Gary Neville, Rio Ferdinand, Paul
Scholes and even the legendary Ryan Giggs. It is true that the Red Devils are going to suffer even though they are at the top of the table right now. Last year it was only Wayne Rooney who helped the English side accomplish what it did and this year round
the English number 10 is not working hard enough to help his team stay on top. In fact, it’s the youngsters who are scoring goals and keeping the game alive for their side.
Sir Alex Ferguson was seen sitting in the stands during the match between Brazil and Argentina and it was definitely expected that the Scottish manager was there to scout a player and later it was seen who he was looking for. The Palermo star and the Argentinean
youngster Javier Pastore who has been on the radar for quite a long time looked to be under Sir Alex Ferguson’s eyes and he is a player who can easily replace Paul Scholes in the midfield. Obviously, Mesut Ozil and Van der Vaart could be better for the Red
Devils but with those opportunities missing out now Sir Alex Ferguson is looking forward to buy the Argentinean midfielder Javier Pastore.
However, the price tag given to the Palermo kid is 70 million Euros and now the question is whether the Red Devils can afford a player who is that expensive. He is young and he has the pace, he even has the talent to be an extraordinary player in the future.
His performance against Brazil was quite remarkable as well but is 70 million Euros really worth it? Well, only time can tell whether the Red Devils are going to take that big step or not.
