Football Update: Manchester United plotting dream signing of Ricardo Kaka
In a rather bizarre turn of events, it has been reported that Real Madrid’s superstar, Ricardo Kaka could be on his way to Manchester United. In fact, the player could be in for a shocker as according to these sources United are plotting to bring in the
player on a loan deal this month, with an option to permanently sign the player for as much as fifty million pounds in the summers.

Kaka, who is now twenty eight years old, had been rumoured to reunite with his former manager Carlo Ancelotti at Stamford Bridge, but it now seems like United might just manage to beat them to the finish line and to capturing the player’s signature.
The major reason for United having the upper-hand at the moment is due to the fact that Jose Mourinho, who is the current manager of the Madrid squad, has stated that he would be more than happy with doing business with United. As a result, it has become
apparent that the manager would personally prefer the player to move to United, over Inter.
It is no secret that Jose Mourinho and Alex Ferguson share a very good competitive relationship, in which both managers respect each other to the utmost levels. However, whether that would lead to Kaka making his way to Old Trafford is still something of
a mystery. This is because a move back to Italy would play in the midfielders personal benefits, due to the fact that he has already had a brilliant spell in Italy with AC Milan, a move to United would result in him moving to a whole new league, and it could
potentially have very drastic effects.
Mesut Ozil was brought in to Madrid to help fill the void that was created when Kaka picked up his injury, prior to the start of the season. However, the player has gone on to cement his position in the Madrid squad and as a result, it is still interesting
to see whether or not Kaka has a spot in the Madrid squad in the long run.
The midfielder has stated that he would like to fight for his spot in the Madrid squad, but if Ozil keeps playing the same way that he is operating at, then it could be close to impossible for Kaka to step back into the starting eleven on a permanent basis.
On the other hand, Kaka has been a former Milan hero. This leads us to believe that the player would have the decency to not make a move to his former arch rivals. However, with players these days opting to rather look at what’s best for them on a personal
level, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Kaka move back to the San Siro.
