Football Update: Richard Butcher of Macclesfield died at the age of 29
The 29 years old professional English footballer, Richard Butcher, died at the age of 29 in his house at Manchester. He was an exemplary proficient footballer and was a likeable young man. Richard died on Sunday night while the reason of his death is obscure.
He made his last appearance on January 3rd, 2011 against a 2 - 0 loss to Rotherham at home. He made nine appearances in total for his club this season.
The 6 ft tall midfielder, Richard http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tony-c35440 Butcher, was born in Northampton on 21st January 1981. He formerly played for fourth - tier clubs like Kettering Town, Northampton Town, Rushden and Diamonds, Peterborough United, Oldham Athletic, Notts county
and Macclesfield Town. Mike Rance, Macclesfield Chairman, expressed quite sadly that the death is a great loss for the club after 10 months of Macclesfield manager’s death.
The former Macclesfield manager, Keith Alexander, signed Richard for the third spell on a short term loan urgent loan deal. Mike Rance asserted that Richard did not turn up for training that morning and he found after investigation that Richard’s wife was
away and he passed away overnight. He said, “The club is devastated by Richard’s sudden death. There is no idea about his death other than natural cause but still we have very less information about this incident at this point in time. He was a dedicated
player and we are just trying to cope with the situation that such a young individual has been lost.”
Butcher was signed by Alexander on 9th Feb, 2010 and the later died on 3rd Mar, 2010. For the fifth time in his career, he was signed by Macclesfield on a two year deal. He was previously signed by Alexander, who was the manager of

“It’s a shocking news to hear about his death. He had many friends and would be missed by his fans too. He used to be my boot boy during my stay with Rushden & Diamonds.”
