Football Update: “Scott Parker not for sale”- Avram Grant
Relegation threatened West Ham United manager Avram Grant has declared he would want to retain the services of midfielder Scott Parker “at all costs”. The manager has therefore claimed Parker would not be going away from West Ham in this winter’s transfer
window.
West Ham has been relegation threatened from the start of the season and former Chelsea manager now looks forward to bringing in new blood in the January transfer window. Grant has confirmed that he would need to bring in new players if he is to climb out
of the relegation zone and would do everything in his power to drag the Hammers out of the danger zone. Along with bringing reinforcements, the manager confirmed that the Tottenham linked Parker would be going nowhere, at least for the time being.

"Scott Parker is more than a good player for this football club. Even though we are at the bottom, we are trying to do the right things for this club. We know all the teams that succeeded did not have it so easy at the start,”

The manager explained that Parker is one of those players who are identity of a football club and the owners also want Parker to stay with the club.
"We don't have many like Scott Parker and it would not be good for us if he left the club and I don't think it would be good for him. He knows what the vision of the club is and he is part of it,"
