  1. wow R U LIKE RETARTED JUST QUIT NOW.....jking.  Your making it alot more complicated than it is.  My high school gave us passing trees when I played freshman.  All the odd number were passes to the outside and the evens to the inside.   For a slant all you do is take 2 steps and slant your route at a 135 degree angle.   For cuts you just make your rout left or right at a 90 degree angle.  You'll get it, ask for some help from the people around you too.  They'll help you alot more than anyone can on yahoo answers.

  2. if you don't know how to "cut" or "slant".......then you shouldnt be playing bro

  3. when you go to cut sink your hips but not to much turn on your foot and plant. Make sure you go 110% so you can get a starting spot.

  4. A slant is when you run diagonal in your run route

Cut left means you make a sharp, 90 degree turn to the left

Post means you run a fly (run straight down the field) and then cut across about half the field

Buttonhook (or hook) is when you run straight down the field, then turn around

Those are some basic receiving routes
