Football help! I need to learn how the game is played.?

I really want to try out for my high skewl football team next year. but i havent a single clue about football. Can you giv me sites that would tell me the rules and wat each position do etc. PLEASE HELP

Oh well that's easy because I had the same problem when i first joined in 7th grade. I ended up turning into 1 of the best at my schools. I'm am offensive linemen 6'1 250 pounds now, and I'm a junior. Really what you should start doing is watch NFL, College, High school football, etc. Do what ur coaches tell u to do, and go 100% at it all the time, AND NEVER QUIT! Belive me you'll be sore, and tired, but it will all pay off when your starting, and winning. I don't know ur grade, size, but this is a tuff sport, and you have a long way to go if your barely gonna join it, but stay focused and belive in yourself because every 1 has the potential. Good luck.
