find the chest piece helpful? Does it really protect your chest ?

Yea, but even with the chest peice getting hit will knock the wind out of you and it will be pretty hard to breathe, then you have to rush straight back to the huddle or the line, and you only have 10-15 seconds to recover.

yes that is what it is designed for

if it didnt work then the company that makes them would be out of business because of all the lawsuits from people suing them

im not a football player but if it didn't protect your chest, im quite sure a ton of NFL players wouldn't be living right now....
