Beckham got $50 million a year in playing contract and other incentives.  I would expect Pele got the same for his record multi-million dollar (if you include inflation) and player contracts during the 70s.

Pele might have got more than any one of them. But there are very few or at least none of all these running around football players and that have 3 world cup wins......I don't know whether C.Ronaldo or Beckham can boast about it.
