  1. I'm a Quarterback too and when i first started i sat down with my best receiver who taught me all their plays and everything and taught me the offensive calls. Just sit down with one of your receivers and ask them to just explain real quick what the calls are. It shows you want to be a team leader and are trying your best to do so. And you're also learning.

  2. Ten and in is run ten yards, and then turn in and run even with the line of scrimage. A ten curl would be running ten yards, and then just turning and stopping.

  3. your the quarterback, your the leader of this team. you NEED to know the routes and have good chemistry with the team. Without that you won't go anywhere. 10 and in is 10 yards out, the cut in towards the qb. say they were on the left side of you, they would run ten yards, the cut towards the middle of the field. 10 and out is when they cut the opposite way. it could also be 5 and in/out, or 15 and in/out etc.

Another play is 10 yard curl-in. They will run ten yards then turn around at that spot. that can be used to fake a deep route so the defender will be caught off guard. Again this can also be 5 yard curl, 15 yard curl, etc.

There is another called the Slant route. They will usually be slant left or slant right, but they may sometimes be called slant in or slant out. They are usually a little deeper then the in routes and curls, around 20-25 yards.

And last is the hail mary or a deep route, there the receiver will try to break away from the defender and your job will be to throw the ball deep and have him run to it. That way if a defender is right on him he has time to break away.

I hoped this helped, if you have anymore problems, talked to the coach, he may have a few other plays that you will need to learn from his playbook. Good luck!

  4. 10 and in:

I'm pretty sure they r talking about they are spread wide and when the ball is snapped they run 10 yards and cut inside.

    Pretty simple!
