Football transfer update: Manchester United forward http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Federico-Macheda-c13475 desiring a move to Sampdoria
Manchester United’s out of favour striker Federico Macheda has declared his desire to play for the Italian club Sampdoria on loan.
This news comes after the Italian born and Sir Alex Ferguson, manager of Manchester United reportedly had a chat about his future.
With the Red Devils the player is unable to have enough time on field and with the arrival of summer signings the task has become harder yet.
During summers United signed in the Mexican forward Javier Hernandez along with Portuguese Bebe. Both of them have showed promising talent so far; however Macheda’s performances have been more disappointing.
Ferguson earlier commented in a press release of his that he and Macheda had mutual agreement that it was in the betterment of the player to play on loan with another club as he would see more play time and evolve in to a better player.
Though Ferguson preferred a team in the English country and Everton were hoping to sign the player but Macheda himself has declared of being hopeful of a transfer to Serie A in Italy.
Nonetheless, the boss of Old Trafford will be in command of this decision in the end. Though Macheda has even been linked with the Italian giants Juventus reports are suggesting the matter has went as far ahead as the President, therefore, there might be
a last minute change in plans.
Apparently Ferguson has just 24 hours left on the clock in which he has to decide the fate of Macheda and all signs are pointing for a position with the Toffees.
So far the 19-year-old forward has featured in just 2 games on English Premier League, hence he desperately requires some time on field. It is expected that Macheda will replace http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Cassano-c6302 who has made a move to AC Milan.
