Football tryouts help pleasssse help

Question

ok so this whole week ive been having football camp and im going out for defensive tackle and fresman football has an A team and a B you have to be first string or second string and if your not either your on the b team so me and this other kid were neck to neck for the Right tackle spot on A team and i have one practice left what can i doo pleasse help

just give it your all. push yourself even when your tired. you have to want it more than the other guy. and also saying "right defensive tackle" doesnt matter at all. left, right whatever it dont matter. get to know how to play more positions as well. if you can play offensive and defensive line you have a better shot at making the A team.

If it is close, just work harder and longer than he does.  Do more, volunteer to do things, ask questions, stay later, let your effort and commitment be your edge.  Coaches love that.

rip someones head off. and be very physical. sometimes players will play both on the A squad as a backup and the B squad as a starter.
