  1. It is very unlikely that an American birth mother will choose an unmarried person to parent her child.   And China is now closed to single parents.   You might try an adoption agency that has a program in Guatemala.  It is possible for a single woman your age to adopt a young infant from Guatemala or Vietnam, and to choose the s*x.  But please be aware that the cost of doing this is somewhere between $25,000 (Vietnam) and $35,000 (Guatemala).

  2. If its a girl baby ,China  needs loving mothers for those babies!

  3. Call with any problem,anytime:

Girls and Boys Town National Hotline

    Phone: 1-800-448-3000

    Email: Hotline@girlsandboystown.org

They have the trained professionals to help with this.

    Gob bless you.

For a child having one parent is better than none at all.

Here are my ten rules of life:

    1. Tell the child you love her every day.

    2. Read her stories every night.

    3. encourage her in everything does.

    4. Tell her how wonderful it is in the things that she does.

    5. Let her know you will always be there for her.

    6. Always find time to talk about her problems.

    7. Make sure she has a birthday every year.

    8. Have her celebrate Easter,Thanksgiving and Christmas.

    9. Be there for her graduation.

    10. When she decides it's time to leave home, always let her

know she is welcome back with open arms.

I was an orphan and only had number eight. You go Girls!!!

  4. If you want to adopt a newborn baby, the most common procedure in the US is to have the birthmother choose you before the baby is born.  This means not having control over the baby's s*x.  The advantage is that you can be in your child's life from day one.  You can also have an open adoption this way, in which the child knows the birthmom and she occassionally visits, or a semi-open adoption where you exchange letters and photos, depending on the birthmom's wishes.

If getting a daughter is more important than age for you, I suggest that you aim a little older, maybe a toddler or preschooler.  This will expand your options tremendously.  You could go international, although some countries, like China, don't accept single applicants.  Domestically, if you apply for a waiting child, the process will be shorter and less expensive, and you can choose the specific child you are applying for.  Be aware though that a lot of these kids have major medical problems or are part of a sibling group.  Make sure you're prepared to meet your child's needs before you take the plunge!

Whichever route you take, you aren't going to get very far without a homestudy.  That means contacting a local agency or attorney.  They can inform you further about your options.

  5. I'm assuming English isn't your first language, are you posting from the US or elsewhere?

  8. there are lots of agencies that will work with singles you may chose from domestic or international adoption  but international is costly but there is no price to large or small when you want a child there are some web sites that let look at the international children  you may also go to adoptuskids to view all the children for adoption in the U.S.
