  1. I think it opens at 9 or 10 in the morning. I usually get there at about noon when I go, so the lines at the ticket gates aren't enormous.

And first, I hit either Tower of Terror (my personal favorite) or California Screaming, although the lines at Screaming tend to be longer, since it's the biggest roller coaster. Soaring Over California, even though it's always fun to go see, usually has terribly long lines that doesn't justify waiting for it, imo. I skip it when I go.

And if you like Aladdin, check the days/times for the theatre in the Hollywood section of DCA, it's only 45 minutes long and fun to see.

  2. I love the Disneyland Resort and have been there many times. I'm one of those people that like to spend the whole day there, so I generally go there from when it opens to when it closes. My favorite rides are the best ones there for Adults. Tower of Terror, California Screamin', or Soarin' are probably the three best rides there, so I do one of those first. I'd suggest getting a Fast Pass for Soarin at the very begining of the day and then going over to Tower or something else because Soarin' always seems to have the longest line.  If you like Farris Wheels, you definitely need to go on the Sun Wheel, and for some extra excitement wait for a swinging gondola!  There's a little ride called Mullholland madness that is surprisingly fun. I thought it was just a dumb kiddy ride, but I ended up laughing and loving it the whole time.  It's not as "extreme" as California Screamin', but it's still fun.    I'd also suggest exploring the the Animation building  over by Tower because it's a nice cool break in the middle of the day when you're tired. You can watch Turtle Talk with Crush (Finding Nemo fun!) Find out what Disney Character you are most like, learn to draw a Character in the Animation Class, and put your voice in a movie.

I Love the Muppets, and if you do, you should check out Muppets 3D- It's a fun show.  The Aladdin show is also pretty good, but if you only have one day there, skip it because it's about takes about 1 1/2hours (waiting in line, etc.)

Oh, and don't forget to check out the tortilla factory for a delicious free tortilla. If you, or someone in your group is wearing a Birthday Pin (which you can get at the Info booth) then they give you a whole BAG for free and they are just soooooo good- and a great free snack from Disney :).

    Have a great time!
