I should have put my Reason for the Question.

I heard that Airlines are leaning towards "dumping" the Movie Equipment to save Weight, thus save Fuel.

Of course, Your Ticket may remain the same...

  1. I never watch them; I bring my own movies and DVD player.

  2. It entirely depends on the flight time for me. I cannot survive a long haul flight without something like a film or music to keep me occupied... plus it is more convenient to watch films on the plane rather than bring your own entertainment and the in-flight films are usually recent cinema releases which is an added bonus.

  3. Yes,one airline has already done that. I think  the airline reasoning is a bunch of hogwash. I never pay any attention to it anyway.

  4. meh, if they have a good movie on its cool but i always half pay attention because i feel so uncomfortable on long flights all i want to do is sleep.

  5. Tp quality airlines these days offer passengers personal seat-back TV's so the passenger can pick what they want to watch.

Its only the US Carriers and British Airways that still have the TV in the isles.
