A Bloodline Limit (also sometimes called a Bloodline Trait) is a special ability or technique that can only be used by someone born into the family that has this power, or has an appropriate body part transplanted from someone who was born into such a family. There are several abilities that seem in the show to be Bloodline Limits but are not, such as the Akamichi Body Expansion jutsus and the Nara Shadow Possession jutsu. Anyone could do them if they learned how, but the families guard those secrets.

Examples of real Bloodline Limits are the Sharingan, Byakugan, Haku's Ice Mirrors, and Kimimaru's Bone Growth. Gentle Fist technically is not a Bloodline Limit, but depends upon one to be usable in any practical manner.

a bloodline limit is a power that is passed down through the family. Only someone within that clan would be able to have it. No one else would be able to.

Examples are the Uchiha Sharingan, and the Hyuga Bykugan

A bloodline is something, a trait or jutsu, that is passed down the family that share the same blood type. its like a bakugan, sharingan,etc...

I think it's a special ability or technique that can only be used by someone who descends from a certain bloodline or clan. Like the uchiha clan have the sharingan.

. for example the sharingan or byakugan the sharingan can

only be used by a uchiha and the byakugan only by a

hyuga :)
