For Americans : LSE?

How well is the London School of Economics recognized in the USA, and also in terms of job prospects? I'll be graduating from the MSc Management and Strategy in 2009 ....

LSE is one of the best schools in the world, but a lot of Americans don't know about it because.......it's not in America. My parents went to Oxford, and I'm surprised at the number of people who've never heard of it, either!

The average person on the street might have never heard of LSE, but the people working in your field certainly should. If a potential employer doesn't recognize it, then a simple Google search will fill him in. It's very respectable, and hopefully the degree will take you far.

It might encourage you to know that my step dad went there & then to Wharton and has done very, very well in life.
