For Aussies living outside of WA; Which AFL team is generally more likeable in your area; Dockers or Eagles?

Which team is more generally accepted and liked in other states?

Dockers - the lovable underdogs or

Eagles - mighty and with premierships

is it cool or uncool to go for these teams?

i know in WA not many people like collingwood! (but i do)

i'd like to know your opinion, cheers!

Freo would be likable in Vic since they are not a threat.

WCE have won premierships which means the flag left Victoria, and thats why they would be more disliked.

PS:  Regardless of where you live, everyone hates Collingwood (Im used to it!)

and would pay more intrest to the injury list

Being from Melbourne, and going to many VFL games before it changed to AFL not really to fond of either WA sides.

If i had to choose which team to watch out of those two, it would be the Eagles

Eagles by the length of the street.

The Dockers & supporters are mostly illiterate fishermen & labourers. Plus they are all on a first name basis with local Centrelink staff.

Being from Melb, I don't have a preference for either team.  I can tell you thou, not many people here like Collingwood as well.

Honestly neither one really rates a mention over here in Victoria. We get the odd bits and pieces but very rarely. I work in an industry with a lot of children and even the ones that have made the move to Victoria all support Victorian Teams. The only time I saw one WA top over here on an AFL finals day it was a WAFL team top and the child supported Hawthorn.

So Honestly WCE and the Dockers only really rate a mention over there while in Victoria we are more interested in the whole game not just what teams play for what state.

A lot of Vics hate the Eagles becasue they're the first team to take the premiership out of Victoria.

Personally I don't really care for either - Eagles are dirty scums :) and Fremantle are just useless, I mean, look at their jumper!

Eagles over the Dockers always.

The Eagles have more class - both players & supporters.

The Dockers are at the lowest level......more or less on a par with Victorian teams.

You probably wont think this is right but because we hate each others teams from the VFL days, my general feeling is we don't really care for one more than the other, i could be wrong but i have been around footy for so any years it's not funny, i know blokes who barrack for the eagles over here but none for freo, but no one hates freo, the only vics that would hate the eagles would be collingwood for kicking them out last year, geel, hawthorn, i'm guessing from previous finals results, me, well i dont care.

I'm from Melbourne and I prefer West Coast.

I was a big fan of Craig Turley in the early 90's...lol
