Has anyone ever noticed how good colombian milk tastes? Omg, it's so delicious and taste nothing like the milk here in the U.S. Too bad I can't bring that milk over here...the milk here tastes plain but the one over there has this ...unique taste to it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Lol

  1. Yes, good milk in Colombia.

I know what are u talking about, it is kind of a little bit, just a little bit sweet.

  2. Yeah, the taste of colombian milk is really different from the american one...and unlike what Sofa King says above, it's not because it's not pasteurized...actually, the major colombian milk brands are sold now in other latinamerican countries (I think they're even starting to export to the US market, but I'm not sure), and have higher quality standards than many other brands in the region.

Although I think it also depends on the brand you buy, when I first got to the US I used to buy a really cheap one, and it was like drinking white water...gourmet stores carry other brands that have a better texture, and they taste better.

  3. Yes some of it is not pasteurized.... :)   I also like Colombian Bread -pan de mija - is one of my faves.

  4. I love the milk over there. When I went to Colombia me and my family went to a farm and me milked cows. I had so much fun! I so agree the milk over there is way better than over here! I am Colombian!  :)
