How did Namikawa figure out that Coil knew that Kira's goal was social status?

It makes sense how Namikawa would know what Kira wants but how does he know that Coil knows the same thing? Aiber doesn't seem to have said anything that would give Namikawa that impression.

  1. Namikawa is smart, and comes to that conclusion using logic.

(He's so good he even outsmarts Yagami a little!)

    His logic is as follows:

It makes sense that "Coil" would investigate his potential clients, and from the information he gains it would be easy for someone like him to notice the success of the company and connect it to the deaths of their competitors (one of the drawbacks of hiring someone with the skills to find out everything about anyone).  And to further confirm their theory that Coil knows Kira is in Yotsuba, he's asking for way too much money, obviously a bit of blackmail.

From what Coil now knows, it's also not hard to figure out what Kira is actually after.  Everyone knows Kira wants to rid the world of evil, but now having mostly accomplished that goal, what does he do next?  A normal person would want to use that power for themselves to get money, which is easy to do, but Kira's not doing that.  If all he wanted was money he could use his power to control bank tellers, or any of other numerous simpler methods to get it.  But Kira is in the Yotsuba group, so he is using his power to ensure the success of Yotsuba and gain the additional social status associated with being "on top".  Kira's actions reveal his goals.
