  1. Having another people power is not necessary during these times. Because it would just hinder the growth of our economy. They wouldn't make this another people power just because of the ZTE broadband scam, they would also do that because of their economic status as well. They must understand tha fact that these economic growths are just merely for the economy itself. They keep on complaining that they don't feel the appreciation of peso, of course they're not able to feel it because it would just help the economy to slow the inflation rate. They keep on complaining, so why don't they start the change from themselves. They should stop thinking that these government people are their providers, what they are looking for is the economic development and that development would take a lot of time before we reach the development that they have been looking for. Another people power wouldn't do us any good because we should see that Gloria is just the head of this VAST body of government which has a lot people governing. So why blame it all to Gloria? Is she that stupid to put an ink to her own name? She could be a part of these corrupt actions, she's the president but it wouldn't mean that she's the heart of all these controversies.

  2. I dont like GMA either, but a 3rd attempt of People Power revolution is the worst that could happen right now.

The second one is already is a mistake. If we waited and be patient, Erap would have been gone without the mess we have in right now and Ate Glo will surely be either retired or also in jail .

  3. no. Gloria is good as a president but doesnt mean she is not corrupt; another people power would be rhetoric and useless. Filipinos are smarter now (i think) and people power is the last thing we need.

  4. NO because even if you change Arroyo will not solve the problems of the Philippines. It just like chopping of one head of a hydra. Sure one head is gone but the hydra is still there.

Will we eradicate corruption in all levels of the government including the opposition? NO

Will everyone have enough food to eat? NO

Will we be able to repay all government debt, local and foreign? NO

Will everyone have the same high standard of education? NO Will everyone be employed and earn a decent living? NO

Will our GDP per capita match those of Singapore, South Korea and Japan? NO

Will the cost of health care go down? NO

Will the price of fuel go down? NO

Will the brain drain stop? NO

Will the peso-dollar exchange rate go down to P2 = $1? NO

Filipinos should be more creative than using the people power option. There is nothing wrong with the Philippines that cannot be cured by what is right with the Philippines. (Borrowing from the words of President Clinton in his first inaugural address)
