Do You Shave it all or just trim..........and how do you keep the red bumps away

The red bumps you experience is referred to as "razor burn." You can try to avoid that with topical creams and balms. However, many of these topical creams are not intended to be used in sensitive areas; so be extraordinarily careful if using one.

You CANNOT use depilitating creams or other chemical hair removers as they'll literally make you sick

Your best bet for a baby smooth finish is unfortunately waxing.

That's the reason why I trim.

I save it very carefully and then I use a scissors to get around the balls and around my inner leg. I like to be smooth down there, plus it give the appearance that its a little bigger! ;-)

shave it all... they make aftershave for sensitive areas like bikini lines (in girls cases) so you might find something like that. but def. shave it all... its much more s**y. <3

i haft to shave b cause i am on a swimming team i shave it the put calogel over it u can buy it at lgreens if there is one in ur area otherwise use shaveing cream while u do it the calogel will make the red bumps go away when u use it

mine was getting pretty long so i decided to shave it all off

only the top

under the stomach and above the end of the d**k.

i dont get red bumbs so i dont know how to help you with that man

you get red bumps from the razor  try spending a few bucks and buy

I trim all of it and shave some of it. tufts stay intact but the most delicate parts are clean shaved. As for bumps that only happened when i went completely shaved.  With my method i never get any bumps and no complaints from my wife either. She is the one with the bump problem and she recommends a product on the market called "bikini zone" Trim first then use a fresh razor in a hot shower or directly after the shower and a cold cloth after to close the pores.

Well if your stuffs long, then i'd shave it and when it's a short length trim it dude. I personally shave it if I don't pay attention to it for a while and it gets long lol. If it's not too long i'd just trim it then man. And to keep red bumps away just be careful! lol

you should shave it all, and put lotion or in shower lotion on after. but some lotions sting. sooo yea, be careful. try a little spot first.

why would you shave down there? i know it looks good on women to shave to look young and clean..but why would a guy do it.i like mine to be scary looking and manly i want a women to look at it a say,look at that ugly thing...not how pretty and child like it looks...

Yeah, I just trim with a beard trimmer, which I don't use on my face, if you're wondering.

Trim it first, then shave in with the grain of the hair...its not as close of a shave, but until your skin gets used to it, try it this way.  After 2-3 times at shaving this way (shave every 3-4 days to begin with) then shave it against the hair grain...Use conditioner, its really better than shaving cream for this area, makes the hair softer, moisturizes the skin and as opposed to shaving cream, you can still see what you are doing!  After you shave, apply hydrocortisone cream or a & d ointment.  Or you can use after shave for sensitive skin.  Apply this every couple of hours and it will stop the red bumps (from irritation).  Also make sure you use a razor that is not dull, but also not brand new...if that makes sense?  Use it once before you use it to shave your ...!  

You don't have to shave it all though, for guys i like a lil hair, just not a BUSH!
